After the death of my mother, this past year, I realized just how important it is to hear a loved one’s voice. It wasn't until she was gone that I realized just how much I loved to hear my mother’s voice. I wanted to share an awesome journaling site with my readers. It is called LifeOnRecord. The web site is www.lifeonrecord.com.

I was given the privilege of reviewing this site for 45 days. At the end of the review period the company sent me a compact disc of all the recorded messages left in my voice journal. I have come to treasure this disc. It has family and friend's voices on it that I will have for the rest of my life. Plus, my children will be able to hear the voices long after their gone.

The web site tag line is "record your memories – record you life". All you need is a phone number to get started. This product is great for birthday parties, weddings, graduations or for any kind of memory album.

I was amazed at the different type of plans that this web site offers. You can sign up for two months for a journal to one year, two years or three years.

For special events like weddings you can sign up based on the number of participants. What a great gift to give to newlyweds - the voice of family and friends sharing in the special day.

Once you sign up at the web site you are given a phone number and journal number, if you are the person the account is for you are given a password. You can check your journaling messages online or via phone, and download them to iTunes. Next send everyone you know an email or give them a call and ask them to leave you a voice message in your journal. It is so simple, my six year old daughter dialed in and left me a precious voice message. I plan on letting her listen to this when she graduates from high school! Each person that wants to leave a voice journal for you calls and logs in to your journal box and leaves their voice recording.

In my review, I had messages that were a few seconds long to quite a few minutes long. It was so fun for the participants. Here are just a few of their comments:

It is so easy!

Do you know someone that is camera shy person or someone who is not a big talker? Then all they have to do is call the toll free number and log into your journal and leave you the message that they might not otherwise be able to say.

You can request a compact disc of your records on a monthly basis for each account, or if you are doing a special event you can also receive one for a birthday or wedding.
