Record a message using Skype
Callers can phone-in from other countries by dialing 1-844-466-7843 using Skype (this is treated as a free call in most countries). If you are in a country that does not allow free Skype calling to toll free numbers, you can instead make a free call to the Skype name “LifeOnRecord2”.
When prompted for an invitation number, please enter 23335.
Note: The Skype User LifeOnRecord2 may not show as online in Skype, but you will still be able to connect to it. You may need to wait a few seconds for the connection to be made.
Have us call you
We can have our system call you anywhere you are in the world (at no cost to you) so that you can leave a recording for the Mortified podcast. You can do this in two easy steps:
- First, make sure your country is correctly selected in the box below.
- Next, Enter your phone number in the button below, then click the “Call” button to actually place the call.
- When asked for an invitation number, enter 23335.
Record a message using your smart phone and email it to us.
Using your smart phone voice recorder, make a voice recording, and email it to recordings@lifeonrecord.com. In the subject line, please type 23335. You can include more than one recording in your email, but do not include any extra text or description as it will not be seen or read. We will automatically convert the file(s) that you send into the proper format and make it available to the producers of Mortified. You will receive an automated email within an hour confirming that the recording was successfully received.
Record a message using your computer or non-IOS device directly from our web site
You can visit http://lifeonrecord.com/record-live-audio and enter invitation number 23335.
Your web-browser will ask if it can have access to your microphone – please say “yes” or “share”. You will then be able to record a message directly on our web site, preview it, and if you like how it turned out, have it added to the Mortified account. For best results, use a headset or dedicated microphone attached to your computer.
Upload a recording that you’ve made to our web site
Did you make a recording some other way? Please visit http://lifeonrecord.com/contribute-recordings and you will able to add the recording to the Mortified account. When prompted, please enter invitation number 23335.
