When guests lift the receiver, they should hear the custom greeting you recorded ahead of time. Because our phones are “tamper-proof,” that greeting can’t be overwritten at the event. If no greeting is on file, we preload a generic one.
Forgot to record yours and the phone has already shipped? As long as you have a Windows computer, you can still add it:
- Record your greeting now. Follow Step 1 in your account-instructions email to dial in and record.
- Let us know. Email support@lifeonrecord.com with your order or invitation number once the recording is complete.
- Load it onto the phone. We’ll convert the file and reply with a copy plus drag-and-drop instructions.
A few quick steps and your custom greeting will be ready for your guests.
