New Invitation

Wedding Toasts and Song Dedications for Bethan and Finlay Stenton

We will be playing pre-recorded messages from guests throughout the evening at our reception on August 3, 2024.

Why? For a couple of reasons
1) Not everyone who would like to be there can make it in person and we’d still like to include you.
2) Some people don’t love public speaking.
3) There’s going to be a bar (self-explanatory).
4.1) We aren’t video taping the reception and. 4.2 ) We’re putting together a wedding time capsule for the bride and groom to revisit in 2049 which will include the video of their vow exchange and these messages interspersed with music and wedding photos.

If you are dedicating a song, please start your message by saying "This is a song dedication of FULL SONG TITLE, by ARTIST NAME from YOUR FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, RELATIONSHIP to the bride or groom." You can leave it at that and let the song speak for you, or you can say a sentence or two.

If you are leaving a toast, a story, or a word of advice, please start by saying "This is a toast to Bethan [or] Finlay [or] Bethan and Finlay from YOUR FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, RELATIONSHIP to the bride or groom. We are hoping to include toasts from everyone, so please keep your toasts to approximately 2 minutes or less.

If you would like to share a longer message with the bride and groom, you can call the number a second time and share more. It will appear on the keepsake recording but will not be played at the wedding. Please note that people other than the bride and groom will be listening to your message, it is not private.
