When planning our wedding, I nearly decided not to have any sort of guest book. I thought, "Why waste money on something I'll never look at again?" When I discovered LifeOnRecord's audio guestbook, I was thrilled! Though it costs more than a basic paper guestbook for friends and family to sign, the lasting memories captured on record are well worth it. Not to mention, it's a fun way to get wedding guests involved and feel like part of the celebration.

As someone with a big family, I've loved listening back to messages from my nieces and nephews. Hearing their young voices brings a smile to my face. All of the kids were so excited to FINALLY be able to call my husband "Uncle," so naturally they kept coming back to leave a message for their new uncle. I can't wait to play back their messages in 10 years when they're all grown up; I love that I get to keep their voices frozen in time. We've also had a grandparent pass away since the wedding a few years ago, so now we have Grandpa's voice saved forever and his loving words to listen back on.

There are sweet messages from friends who shared how our relationship had a positive impact on their own lives, silly messages from family telling corny jokes, and goofy messages from guests later in the evening about how people were "shredding up the dance floor to Cotton-Eyed Joe, a sight to behold." Hearing all the voice messages brings back vivid memories of our wedding day, something a paper guestbook could never do.
