Bring everyone into the baby shower, wherever they are
As the shower organizer, you can invite grandparents, siblings, friends and other loved ones to help make the gift. Share your dial-in and invitation numbers so they can call from their own phones, hear your introductory greeting and leave a message. They can contribute before, during or after the celebration, including those who cannot attend.
At the shower, set aside a moment for guests to think about their message. An optional rental phone can give them a special place to pick up the receiver and speak to the parents or baby. Recordings made on that phone are processed after it is returned.
You might begin the collection ahead of the shower and invite guests to keep adding to it. That gives the gift room for a few more voices as the family gets ready to meet their baby.
