I heard stories from family members about what they think makes my mom special – we all had different memories, experiences, traits we admired, and the variety was fantastic, as were the stories, many of which I had never heard. Plus we had fun planning this surprise for her, and it gave us a reason to chat on the phone with each other, something I hadn’t done with some of my family members in a while.
My mom LOVED the gift!!! She was so touched that she was brought to tears! It was such a meaningful way to honor a woman who has given so much of herself to others.
