We waited a bit after our wedding and honeymoon to listen to our recordings. It was an exciting adventure to hear the night progress through the voices and messages of our favorite people. From guests being unsure whether they heard the beep to heartfelt or hilarious messages fueled by libations and fun music as the night went on, it was a special experience – a take two of sorts – of one of the best days with the most important people in our lives.
We go back after every anniversary and listen to the recordings, along with watching our wedding video, because it has also preserved pieces of loved ones who are no longer with us that we can hear time and time again. Those voices frozen in time are truly priceless and one of the main reasons we chose an audio guestbook. Hearing our nieces' and nephews' little voices and giggles – some asking whether our "refrigerator was still running," and some cutting their message short because their "favorite song is playing" – transports us right back to how much fun the night was.
