We ship vintage and retro phone rentals from near Chicago, Illinois.
Our goal is to get the phone to you with plenty of buffer before your event. For most Friday and weekend events, the phone ships the Monday of the week before your celebration. Delivery timing depends on where the package is going, but most couples receive their phone later that week or early the following week.
If your event falls earlier in the week (for example Wednesday or Thursday), the phone still ships the Monday of the week before your event. This schedule is designed to give the package several days of cushion so you have time to receive it, bring it to your venue, and test it if you’d like before the celebration.
If you ever feel like your timeline might be tight, or if you need extra flexibility for travel or venue logistics, please contact us. We are often able to adjust timing depending on the season and phone availability.
It is easiest if you record your personalized greeting before the phone ships so that we can load the greeting onto the phone and connect it to your dial-in number at the same time.
We intentionally designed the phone to be tamper-resistant so guests cannot accidentally overwrite or erase any recordings or greetings. Because of this, we preload your introductory greeting onto the phone before it ships. In general, unless you are reserving your phone at the last minute, we recommend recording your greeting about two weeks before your event date.
If needed, it is still possible to record or update your greeting after the phone has shipped. Just email us and we will send instructions.
If you do not record an introductory greeting, we will place this generic greeting on the phone.
After your event, we ask that the phone be shipped back via the United States Postal Service (USPS) within two business days. A prepaid USPS return label is included in the box.
If you will be traveling right after the event, we recommend delegating the return to a friend, family member, or planner. The package can be dropped off at any Post Office, or you can arrange for carrier pickup from your home at this link.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
